We aim to provide clients with an affordable and flexible Family Tree service that meets ALL budgets and has the option to add to their Family Tree when circumstances dictate, and when budgets allow
THE SERVICE
What we can do for you
We will construct and research a comprehensive Family Tree for you, within your budget, and help you update it (optionally) as your family circumstances change, or additional information is discovered.
Your family tree can be as elaborate or as simple as you wish, but, whatever format you choose, it is a fantastic keepsake for all the family to treasure.
We could find a famous (or an infamous) relative or we might discover the truth about a family legend. Perhaps we will discover a photo of your Great Grandmother as a little girl, or the war record of an ancestor?
But whatever we find, it’s sure to change the whole way you look at your family history, and yourself. After all, the story of your family is the story of YOU.
To get you started, ask your relations to help – they may have clues or family papers to help us, such as birth, marriage or death certificates, newspaper clippings, a diary or even a Family Bible. Any of these records may contain those valuable details of names, dates and places that we need, to construct your family tree.

We focus on events in England and Wales and Scotland (births, marriages and deaths) but will consider Ireland events. For other countries; provide us with some names and we will look before you buy. Even if we can't research the family you DON'T know we can construct your tree from the family you DO know.

We will always try to be fair and transparent
We have attempted to provide clients with an extremely cost-effective service which is hundreds or even thousands of pounds cheaper than other Family Tree companies, for virtually the same service. We encourage you to do your own research to see how our prices compare. We have given you two examples of companies, and their prices, so perhaps start there

Whilst rival companies will pad their prices with window-dressing, we provide a basic Family Tree at affordable prices, right through to professionally presentable products for clients with deeper pockets

Your Family Tree is constantly evolving. Additions are made, and inevitably members will be lost. Tree 'n Trace will, at a minimal cost update your Tree and send you updated reports and lists, which you are free to distribute to all branches of your family
​
Our plans allow you to progress from an 'average-sized' Family Tree to a larger one. Start at band 1 (or 1A) for example and progress to Band 2 (or 2A) - and only pay the difference. Thereafter, expand your tree to the fullest extent available at a minimal cost

Constructing your Family Tree is a collaborative process, with information supplied by you (which we will verify wherever possible) and intensive research by us.
